Power Outlets

Air Travel
London is served by multiple international airports: • Heathrow Airport (LHR) – the main international hub, approx. 25 km from central London • Gatwick Airport (LGW) • Stansted (STN) • Luton (LTN) • London City Airport (LCY) Heathrow Express reaches Paddington Station in ~15 minutes. The Underground (Piccadilly Line), Elizabeth Line, taxis, Uber, and trains also provide easy access to the city.
Train Travel
London Underground (Tube): The Tube is the fastest way to travel across London, operating from ~5:00 AM to midnight (24-hour service on some lines Fridays and Saturdays).
Public transport
Buses: London’s iconic red buses operate 24/7 on many routes and are a convenient option for short trips.
National & International Rail
Major rail stations include King’s Cross, Paddington, Waterloo, and Victoria. High-speed Eurostar services connect London with Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
Biking in London
London has expanding cycling infrastructure. Santander Cycles and other bike rentals are available throughout the city. Helmets are recommended but not mandatory.
